Killing Eve has emerged as the breakout show of 2018. Its audience growth has been well documented and that audience can grow even larger when it comes to Hulu later this year.
No exact release date has been given, but a late 2018 time frame was revealed in a Decider interview.
In the great streaming wars that continue to escalate and evolve, content is key. Killing Eve is a great pick-up for Hulu. Not only because it’s a critically acclaimed series, but also because it aired on BBC America, a cable channel not many people watch.
When it arrives on the streaming platform at the the end of the year, it could be the first exposure to the series for many viewers. Killing Eve has easily been one of my favorite viewing experiences this year. Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer especially give some of 2018’s best TV performances, with Comer’s Villanelle becoming my favorite new character this year.
I highly recommend Killing Eve to anyone looking for a fresh new spin on a familiar genre. It’s engaging, thrilling, sexy, and with only 8 episodes a small time commitment. I look forward to what Season 2 will bring between Eve and Villanelle.
