Sarah Paulson is having a good September, with the release of Ratched on Netflix and Hulu setting a release date for her latest film Run.
Originally scheduled to premiere in theaters, Run was another film that was a victim of the coronavirus pandemic and will now release on Hulu November 20. It is still scheduled to hit theaters overseas.
Directd by Aneesh Chaganty and starring Sarah Paulson and Kiera Allen, the thriller centers on a young wheelchair-using teenager who is homeschooled by her mother, but soon suspects her mother might be keeping dangerous secrets from her.
While the setup for the movie might sound similar in aspects to other films, actress Kiera Allen is a wheelchair user in real life and a co-starring role in a major film is unique for that situation. Run seems like a good pickup for Hulu, as it might not have done major numbers in theaters, but I suspect will do well streaming.
