The Marvel juggernaut doesn’t stop whether it is in comics, films, or television. The latest television venture for the company is Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger arriving on Freeform in June.
Freeform seems to be the ideal home for a comic series centered on two teenagers from different backgrounds whose emerging powers are linked. Tandy Bowen aka Dagger has the ability to emit light daggers and Tyrone Johnson aka Cloak is able to engulf others in darkness. Together the duos powers become even stronger.
Freeform ( formerly ABC Family) is a youth oriented channel, so I can see why they picked up the show. It fits their brand and who doesn’t want to be in business with Marvel? Early word from critics who have seen the premiere have been very positive.
