Sci-fi shows have seen a resurgence on TV lately and one of the best now has a return date. USA has announced Colony Season 3 will premiere Wednesday, May 2.
A synopsis for the upcoming season below:
Colony’s third season begins six months after the Bowmans’ escape from the Los Angeles bloc as Will (Josh Holloway) and Katie (Sarah Wayne Callies) struggle to rebuild their family in the world beyond the walls. When their peaceful existence is shattered, they are sent on an odyssey that will finally reveal the horrifying truth behind Earth’s mysterious occupiers and once again force our heroes to choose sides.
Colony was a show I felt made a leap in quality during its second season and I look forward to seeing how the third season unfolds. So far the creative team has played coy about giving up too many answers revolving the alien occupation. With the second season ending in a major shift for many of the characters, Colony certainly isn’t content to keep the status quo.
