Waiting to find out if a show you enjoy has been renewed is frustrating. Better Call Saul fans don’t have to deal with this problem, as AMC has given the series an early renewal.
The announcement was made during the Television Critic Association summer press tour that Better Call Saul will be back for a 5th season. Season 4 doesn’t even premiere until Monday, Aug. 6.
The renewal isn’t too surprising given the fact the Breaking Bad spin-off has been a solid ratings performer and critical success since its debut. I fully expect AMC to give the creative team time to complete their story and that story includes at least one more season.
It wouldn’t surprise me if the 5th season does wind up being the final one. Jimmy’s transition into full Saul Goodman only grows closer. For a glimpse into Season 4, check out the trailer below.
