Anthology series are hard to pull off, but Black Mirror is perhaps the best one airing today. Netflix has announced when it will return and dropped the first trailer for the upcoming season.
Following the interactive nature of Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, the show will return to form with three new episodes for Season 5 on June 5. Anthony Mackie, Miley Cyrus, Topher Grace, Nicole Beharie, and Andrew Scott are just some of talent set to appear.
Black Mirror‘s ominous look at how technology shapes us now and in the future remains front and center. The footage appears to explore smart phone obsession, dating apps, isolation, and fame. There even appears to be a nod to fighting videogames like Street Fighter in a brief scene shown towards the end of the trailer. Check it out below.
