HBO joins forces with The BBC to bring Philip Pullman’s fantasy books to life on television. The full trailer for Season 1 has been revealed showcasing a fantasy series epic in scope. War is brewing, children are being kidnapped, and a special girl named Lyra may be the key to changing everything.
I’ve had my eye on this adaptation for a while and the new footage only increased my anticipation. I was already sold on the stacked cast, but what really stood out in the trailer are all the animals. Polar bears, rabbits, owls, snakes, and a terrifying monkey all appeal to hold value in the world of His Dark Materials. Check out the trailer below.
