‘Stargirl’ Heads To The CW And DC Universe

When Stargirl gets her own series in 2020, she will get double the exposure on streaming and network platforms.

The CW and DC Universe will both air the series when it premieres, with Stargirl airing on The CW a day after it releases on DC Universe. Much like other CW programming, Stargirl will also be available to watch online via CW’s digital sites.

This news had been rumored online for a while. It once again calls into question the long-term future of DC Universe, with some of its programs migrating over to different platforms. Doom Patrol has a similar venture in store, with both DC Universe and HBO Max set to air the series going forward.

You would have to think making Stargirl available to a larger audience is a good thing. Not only does it give consumers more ways to watch, but should increase the shows chances of renewal.
