American Dad! Scores Two Season Renewal

American Dad! continues to find success on TBS. The cable network has renewed the long-running comedy for an additional two seasons.

The two season renewal guarantees American Dad! will go all the way to Season 19. The Seth MacFarlane animated series started in 2005 on Fox where it aired for 11 seasons before migrating over to TBS where it currently airs. After completion of Season 19, American Dad! will have produced over 300 episodes.

It really is surprising to see the show last this long, as few series are able to reach that kind of episode milestone. While I have stopped watching the series a few seasons back, at one point it was my favorite animated comedy and I still consider Roger to be a top 10 animated character of all time.
