Writer Greg Daniels certainly has a busy month with two shows launching on streaming platforms. First there was Upload premiering on Amazon Prime Video at the beginning of May and later this month is the launch of Space Force on Netflix.
The new comedy sees Daniels reuniting with Steve Carell from their days working on The Office together and Netflix has dropped the first teaser trailer.
One of the first things that stands out when watching is the impressive cast assembled. Not only do you have Steve Carell as the star, but Space Force features names like Lisa Kudrow, Ben Schwartz, John Malkovich, and Fred Willard among others. All of that comedic talent comes together in the creation of a new branch of the military, the titular ‘Space Force’, run by Steve Carell’s character General Mark R. Naird.
Getting the new project off the ground won’t be easy and instead leads to a lot of stress, money, hard work, and explosions. Check out the trailer below and look for Space Force on Friday, May 29 when it releases on Netflix.
