Titans will be the first live action show for DC Universe, with spin-off Doom Patrol set to follow. Diane Guerrero has landed a co-starring role in the series as Crazy Jane.
Doom Patrol follows a strange group of outcast heroes. Crazy Jane is the most powerful, yet most unstable of the group. Suffering from multiple personality disorder, Crazy Jane has 64 distinct personas each with a different superpower.
The casting of the character follows the previous casting of April Bowlby as Elasti-Girl and Dwain Murphy as Negative Man. Doom Patrol is set for 13 episodes sometime in 2019.
I had not heard of Doom Patrol before the announcement of the series coming to DC Universe. Crazy Jane sounds like a very intriguing character and I can see why an actor would want to play someone with so many potential layers. Just from reading the description of her character, it reminds me somewhat of David Haller on Legion.
