It’s not often there is a shake-up in late-night talk show hosts. Yet, NBC is poised to make a big change by adding Lilly Singh as host of her own show.
Following the cancellation of Last Call With Carson Daly, Lilly Singh will occupy the same time slot come September. Titled, A Little Late With Lilly Singh, the new show will be a mixture of studio interviews, comedy sketches, and other segments.
When it comes to YouTube stars I have heard of very few, but Lilly Singh is a name I am familiar with. I haven’t seen much of her content, but I do like the positive message she promotes for young girls in some of her videos. The old Carson Daly slot isn’t the best for viewers, yet I don’t see it being that much of a hindrance.
Any big late night clip is posted on YouTube and her audience is well accustomed to watching her there. Check out the video below to see Jimmy Fallon and Seth Myers welcome her into the NBC family.
