2019 hasn’t wrapped yet, but it’s not too early to look at what the TV calendar has in store for the new year. Syfy is gearing up for 2020 by offering a sneak peak at the new season of The Magicians.
When the series returns in January for its fifth season, the events of the Season 4 finale still loom large. The characters are dealing with a major death and processing grief in their own ways. Some may be going a little crazy while others are not prepared to give up hope.
Either way the brief footage shown of the upcoming season offers up many of the elements that make the show great. Magic, humor, quests, drama, and pop-culture jokes all play a part in the teaser that can be viewed below.
