As Altered Carbon nears its Season 2 premiere, Netflix has released the official trailer for the upcoming season.
A new season brings a new sleeve for Takeshi Kovacs, as actor Anthony Mackie takes over the role originally played by Joel Kinnaman. The trailer shows Kovacs returning to his home world, where he not only reunites with his lost love Quellcrist Falconer, but also his lost body.
The new season of Altered Carbon may feature a different main actor, but it looks to retain the outstanding visuals and hard-hitting action that made the first season unique. It’s good to see the AI Poe return as he was a standout character from the first season and I’m looking forward to seeing Simone Missick (Luke Cage) as a bounty hunter.
Check out the trailer below and look for Season 2 of Altered Carbon when it hits Netflix on Feb. 27.
