The upcoming Superman & Lois TV series for The CW continues to round out its cast with the latest addition being Emmanuelle Chriqui as Lana Lang.
Starring Tyler Hoechlin as Superman and Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois, the series is centered on “..the world’s most famous superhero and comic books’ most famous journalist as they deal with all the stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today’s society.”
Already picked up straight to series for a 13 episode run, Superman & Lois like every other show is awaiting for the coronavirus pandemic to subside before production can begin.
The character of Lana Lang is a familiar one for Superman fans, most recently played by Kristen Kreuk on Smallville for a number of years. This iteration of the character that Chriqui will be stepping into is described as “Lana Lang-Cushing, the loan officer at Smallville Bank who stayed in Smallville when others left for something bigger and brighter. Lana re-establishes her friendship with her old friend, Clark Kent, during one of the most difficult periods in her life.”
