Perhaps the best comedy on TV right now, certainly the best one with vampires has been renewed for another season. FX has announced What We Do in the Shadows will return for Season 3.
Currently in the midst of Season 2, What We Do in the Shadows continues to expand its audience. While linear ratings on FX have remained comparable to Season 1, the series really reaches viewers with delayed and multi-platform watches factored in. Those additional eyeballs result in a total average of 3.2 million viewers, improving over Season 1 by 25 percent.
This is just another example of consumers watching programming on their own time and FX’s partnership with Hulu makes watching the series even more convenient. What We Do in the Shadows is great and I’m happy to see the show won’t be disappearing into the night, unlike Jackie Daytona.
