Amazon Prime Video has already gotten off to a great start in May, kicking off the month with Upload. Now as May winds to a close, the streamer looks to end the month strong with the return of Homecoming for Season 2.
Premiering Friday, May 22, the new season puts Janelle Monáe in the central role. While Julia Roberts struggled with gaining a piece of her memory in the first season, Monáe appears to struggle with her entire identity after waking up on a boat and having no memory of who or where she is.
Unraveling the mystery of her missing identity seems to be at the heart of Season 2, with returning characters played by Hong Chau and Stephan James, along with newcomers played by Chris Cooper and Joan Cusack key to putting the pieces together.
