Peacock Offers New Look at Saved by the Bell Revival

Peacock is leaning on established brands for its new streaming service and one of the bigger ones is the return of Saved by the Bell.

The classic teen sitcom is returning with some old favorites and a new group of Bayside students. A new teaser has been released for the revival offering another look at what’s in store when the series makes its return.

Both Slater, Jessie, and The Max are highlighted in the footage, representing the show’s past while the new crop of students get adjusted to everything Bayside High has to offer.  Not featured in the trailer are Zack and Kelly, but both will be a part of the new show in a limited capacity. In fact the actions of Zack, now governor of California, serve as the jumping off point of the revival. Check out the synopsis below.

“In the new Saved by the Bell, California Governor Zack Morris gets into hot water for closing too many low-income high schools and proposes they send the affected students to the highest-performing schools in the state, including Bayside High. The influx of new students gives the overprivileged Bayside kids a much-needed dose of reality.”

Saved by the Bell may feature a new look and new cast, but it hasn’t forgotten the mistakes of the past as Jessie demonstrates in the teaser below.
