FX Sets Premiere Date for Fargo Season 4

After delaying the premiere due to Covid-19, FX has set a new premiere date for Fargo Season 4.

Originally set to debut earlier this year in April, the new season will now arrive Sunday, Sept 27, migrating to a new night for its return.  The 11 episode season will debut first on the linear FX channel, before arriving the following day on FX on Hulu.

Production is set to resume soon in Chicago to finish filming the remaining two episodes of the season. A synopsis of Season 4 can be read below.

“Fargo‘s latest chapter takes place in 1950 Kansas City, where two criminal syndicates fighting for a piece of the American dream have struck an uneasy peace and control an alternate economy of exploitation, graft and drugs. Chris Rock stars as Loy Cannon, the head of the African-American crime family, who trades his youngest son to his enemy, the head of the Italian mafia, in order to cement their truce. In return, Donatello (played by Italian actor Tommaso Ragno) surrenders his youngest son to Loy… but the tenuous truce is threatened when Donatello dies in the hospital after a routine surgery.”

Fargo has always been able to attract a stellar cast going back to the first season with Billy Bob Thornton and Martin Freeman. Season 4 is no different with the cast including Chris Rock, Timothy Olyphant, Jason Schwartzman, Ben Whishaw, and Jack Huston to name a few.

The show has been off the air for too long and it will be good to have it back soon. Check out the latest teaser for Season 4 below.
