When you think of the channel Syfy you naturally think of science fiction, but one of the best and most successful shows on the network is The Magicians. Syfy is continuing the magical partnership with the series by renewing it for a fifth season.
The news arrived prior to the Season 4 premiere showing great confidence in The Magicians going forward. As a big fan of the show, it also means I can enjoy the current season without worrying about a premature end.
The creative team behind the series have done a great job in not only adapting Lev Grossman’s books, but expanding on them. The Magicians has improved each season mixing fantasy, magic, humor, and horror in unique, creative ways.
The first three seasons of the show are available on Netflix and I highly recommend checking them out. Season 4 just returned on Syfy Wednesday, January 23. It makes a very entertaining programming block with new series Deadly Class.
