Gugu Mbatha-Raw stars as Ruth, a woman with tremendous abilities who goes into hiding to protect the people she cares about. Those people include her mother and her daughter, who inherits a less traumatic version of Ruth’s powers.
The trailer for Fast Color opens ominisuouly with a proclamation of the world dying soon. While the footage hints at a more intimate story between women harnessing powerful energy within, the stakes appear to be high.
