Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a busy man with a lot of projects in the works. One could easily forget in addition to being a major movie star, he has an HBO series returning this month.
Yes, Ballers returns August 25 for Season 5 and HBO has dropped the official trailer for the upcoming season. Things looks to continue at a high level as The Rock’s character Spencer Strasmore remains at odds with the NFL. This time he does so without his friend and business partner Joe, as they appear to be on opposite sides. Charles seems to be struggling in his new position and Ricky might be returning to his old ways.
I wasn’t the biggest fan of last season and hope the series can recapture some of the early magic it possessed. Check out the official trailer below.
