Krypton recently concluded its second season and now has concluded its run as a series with Syfy announcing the show’s cancellation.
Unfortunately for fans of Superman’s grandfather and the House of El, any future adventures will not happen at Syfy. The same goes for the Lobo spin-off which was in the early stages of development and now will not be going forward. The producers of Krypton are seeking to find a new how for the show, although that is always a low proposition.
A move to DC Universe would be a natural fit, but the future and overall strategy of that streaming service seems murky to me. Krypton‘s drop in Season 2 ratings no doubt contributed to it joining Happy! and Deadly Class, two Syfy series which were canceled earlier this year.
