‘The I-Land’ Is Not What It Seems In Netflix Teaser Trailer

Art imitates life in Netflix’s teaser for upcoming sci-fi thriller The I-Land.

Poking fun and taking cues from the Fyre Fest promotion, the trailer highlights beautiful people enjoying themselves on a gorgeous island before circumstances take a dark turn. Much like the Fyre Fest itself, things are not as advertised.

10 people awake on an island with no memory and must face physical and psychological challenges in order to escape. The I-Land cast includes Kate Bosworth, Natalie Martinez, Alex Pettyfer, Ronald Peet, Kyle Schmid, Kota Eberhardt, Sibylla Deen, Anthony Lee Medina, Gilles Geary and Michele Veintimilla.

Check out the trailer below and look for the limited series to premiere on Netflix September 12.
