‘Locke & Key’ Secures Early 2020 Netflix Premiere Date

The road to bring Locke & Key to television has been a long one, but the graphic novel adaptation is finally set to debut.

Netflix has announced the premiere date for the 10 episode series will be Friday, Feb. 7. Check out the official synopsis below.

“After their father is murdered under mysterious circumstances, the three Locke siblings and their mother move into their ancestral home, Keyhouse, which they discover is full of magical keys that may be connected to their father’s death.

As the Locke children explore the different keys and their unique powers, a mysterious demon awakens — and will stop at nothing to steal them. From Carlton Cuse (Lost, Bates Motel) and Meredith Averill (The Haunting of Hill House), the series is a coming-of-age mystery about love, loss, and the unshakable bonds that define family.”

I’ve heard nothing but good things about the graphic novel by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez. After the adaptation failed to get off the ground at Fox and Hulu, it’s good to see Netflix bring the project to fruition. The premise is intriguing and I like the first poster for Locke & Key  which can be seen below.
